Foster: “It Grounds You”

To help support Non-League Day 2018, Hornets goalkeeper Ben Foster was asked about his time in the lower reaches of the game, after spells with Racing Club Warwick, Tiverton Town, Stafford Rangers, Kidderminster Harriers and Wrexham in the early stages of his career.

Foster spoke about “where it all started” for him, as part of the Premier League's ‘From Non-League to Premier League’ series.

News: Non-League Day 2018

Following the record-breaking event last year, Non-League Day will return for a ninth consecutive season this Saturday (October 13).

Non-League Day provides a platform for clubs to promote the importance of volunteer-led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side.

For the fifth year in a row, Non-League Day has partnered with Prostate Cancer UK to encourage clubs and fans to raise funds to stop the disease which kills one man every 45 minutes.

Many local non-league clubs are in action, with some offering discounts to Watford FC season ticket holders should they present their season card at the turnstile.
